How to order your Wedding Cake
Please contact me and I will ask you for some basic details:
• Your contact details.
• The date of your event and venue.
• How many people you will need to feed.
If I have your date available I will ask you to give some more information so that I can give you a precise quote for your cake:
• Ideas you have for your cake, theme and colours (these can include photos of the wedding dress, flowers, and invitations).
• Cake flavours. These can be different for each tier of the cake. Please ask if you would like a list sent to give you some ideas or you can request your favourites. I source the finest quality ingredients for your cake as I believe that a cake should taste scrumptious as well as look beautiful. I use the finest organic flour, fresh free range eggs and farmhouse butter, Madagascan vanilla extract, organic dark chocolate and finest quality preserves and flavourings with organic fruit and flowers.
You will be able to sample some cake either by attending one of my free scheduled cake consultation days or by requesting a sample box to be delivered by post (which will incur a cost.) You will also be able to discuss ideas you have for your cake at the consultation or can email me with all your ideas. You will then need to confirm your booking in writing to ensure the date is reserved. An order form will be sent to you to confirm everything we’ve discussed, a sketch of your cake design, your quote for the cost and Terms and Conditions for you to read.
50% of the cost of your cake is due by 6 weeks prior to the date of your wedding. Everything needs to be confirmed and cannot be changed after this date. Cleared payment of the entire balance must be received one week before the cake is delivered.
Allergies :-I can provide special recipe cakes on request. If you have any special dietary requirements please ask and I will do my best to meet your needs. There will be no extra charge for special diet cakes. Please Note that I cannot guarantee my cakes will be allergen free.
Please Note: Your information is held securely only for the purpose of making and delivering your cake. It is never used for anything else or shared.
I will be attending Lanes Hotel Spring Wedding Fair on March 1st where I will be showing some new designs, demonstrating sugar flower making and offering cake samples.
I will be holding a free Wedding Cake Consultation day on Sunday March 15th. This will be by appointment to taste some cake and discuss your ideas (for a maximum of two people).

Naked Wedding Cakes
Your Naked Wedding Cake can be made with any combination of flavours depending on how you would like it to look.
You can keep the overall look stylishly simple and sophisticated with a hint of buttercream smoothed around the sides.
Added decorations can include fruits and flowers. Flowers may be made of sugar to keep your naked cake fully edible. Wired flowers are not edible but may be saved indefinitely if stored carefully. Real flowers should be organic and edible or at least completely safe to touch your cake.
