I love baking and have a passion for beautiful cakes!
I spent many years baking cakes for friends and family and then discovered cake artistry in 2012.
I use a range of techniques to decorate cakes including piping, brush embroidery, hand painting, and making sugar flowers and models. I trained in Cake Artistry with Dawn Pennington, herself trained by Mary Ford and Eddie Spence MBE.
I source the finest quality ingredients for my cakes as I believe that they should taste scrumptious as well as look beautiful. I use organic flour, organic milk, fresh organic free range eggs and tasty farmhouse butter, Madagascan vanilla extract, Green & Black’s organic dark or white chocolate, scrumptious finest quality conserves, and added fruits, flowers or veg are organic.
I am registered with South Somerset District Council with a Food Standards Agency Level 5 rating, am insured and hold a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
